2nd Timothy

As we celebrate the fathers around us, we concluded our study of second Timothy chapter one as Paul explains to Timothy that using the boldness of God gives, it doesn't take, and he/we are not to be ashamed of it, or the testimony of the Lord. Paul implores Timothy not to be ashamed of him either as word spread of Paul's imprisonment for he was there as the Lord's prisoner and it was his appointed work and he was confident in it. For these reasons Paul exhorted Timothy to remain faithful to the truth, giving examples of both faithful and unfaithful people in Paul's life.
